2005년 1월 12일 리조트에서 새롭게 발표된 소식입니다.

이번 쯔나미로 피해가 적었던 일부 워터빌라와 다이빙센터, 스파,레스토랑등은 1월15일부터 정상개장 할 예정이며, 이보다 좀 피해가 있었던 비치빌라섬의 객실을 포함하여 2월15일 이전까지 리조트 전체를 완전 정상화하여 오픈한다고 합니다.

화이트샌드비치 리조트로 예약하신 분들께 개별적으로 연락 드리도록 하겠습니다.





오늘 발표된 공식적인 화이트샌드비치 리조트의 내용입니다.


그동안 리조트에 계셨던 분들의 귀환을 돕고 피해상황을 파악해 본 결과, 복구해야 할 시설물은 수도, 전기등이며 일부 워터빌라의 문과 수도관에 문제가 있어 몇일간 보수공사에 들어간다고 합니다.

2005년 1월 9일까지 임시 폐장을 하니 참고하시기 바라며, 화이트샌드비치 리조트로 예약하신 모든 분들께는 개별적으로 연락 드리도록 하겠습니다.



Dear partner,

Please note that we have transfered today all our guests from the resort to Male.

Our resort was flooded for a few hours yesterday.


The apparent damages are :

- no utilities (power and water)

- some water damages in part of water bungalows whose doors were open

during the catasthrophy, and damage to our plumbing system

- More severe damages on the island village.



We need a few days to assess the damage and evaluate the time to repair them.



Kindly not to send any clients until 9 January 2005.

We will try to inform you our situation after we make our preliminary

damage check by the end of the week.
